Retirement
Care in a Herd Environment:
Horses who live here are turned out every day, all
day, except in the most extreme weather. They come in at night in
the winter until
the weather turns favorable.
Terrain is suited for movement, with horses traveling about during the
day, through the creek and up and down hills to various locations where
they like to graze. We now have power across the creek and are
rotating grazing areas. These horses have been in a herd
situation
all their lives, and have welcomed many visitors into their herd over
the years.
Storm Crow Stables is a barefoot hoof care facility, offering help for
horses with founder, navicular type presentation and other hoof related
soundness issues with our new Hoof
Rehabilitation Center.
