Demitasse (Blackie), my first horse, was 16, and I was
10. He was a mustang with a dent in his left front
shoulder. He had been Nor Cal Champion Jr. Jumper age 15 - 17 for
two years with his
previous owner, Cyndal. He was a great first horse with a lot of
personality.

Lady was a beautiful QH TB cross. This is the only photo of her
before she
foundered.
She
liked cherries and coca cola, and would frequently eat my lunch.

Sea Flirt (Flirt)
at Santa Rosa from 1972 - 75. She was purchased
from Laurie Freeman Swanson at age 4. She was 1/2 sister to Paper
Profit
- both by the legendary stallion War Flirt, by War Admiral, well known
for
producing many top hunters and jumpers. Flirt was a great horse.

Paper Profit (Profit) by War Flirt out of Romaha by Buster.
Profit was a
once in a lifetime horse. She helped me to two Pacific Coast year
end Championships and three
NorCal Championships - in one year. You could win a jumper class,
strip the boots off, and go win in the hunter or equitation ring.
She had three
live foals, Heidi (Hidden Profit), who became a polo pony, Chase
(Profit's Chase), who
became my broodmare and has been a quality lesson horse for many years,
and Pinky (Profit Parity), who became an eventer
for Anna Collier.

Misha, the first colt I started. This mare jumped the garden
fence where she lived.
They ended up giving her to me, when her forays into the garden
continued. She was sold to Leslie Bierly and was Megan Garcia's
pony hunter Rhumba.

Mattie, owned by the late Richard Campbell. He found her at
Portland Meadows.
Taken in 1988 at one of the last Country Classics to be held at
Inchinnan Farm.

Davy
at The Tom Dorrance Clinic in Hillsboro in 1989.
One of many colts I rode that were owned and raised by Richard
Campbell.
He was sold and became Crocket, a well known grand prix jumper.
